Kate Owen

Kate Owen is an LAHP funded Mphil/PhD student at CELL. She completed her undergraduate degree in English at the University of St Andrews and graduated from King’s College London’s Early Modern English Literature: Text and Transmission MA programme in 2019. Her project researches the ways manuscript recipe books function both inside and outside the early modern home. She is particularly interested in medical history, food studies, book history, and the archival/library afterlives of early modern texts.
