The Author was order'd to be thanked, and the Book was recom,
mended to the perusal of Dr Tim. Clark, who was desired to
giue the Society an account of it.

Mr Haak produced Mr Sw Dr Swammerdams first part
of the History of Insects, in the Belgick Tongue. It was com
mitted to M. Hook to peruse it and to giue make a report to
the Company of it the Authors way ^ /manner/ of treating /of/ this subiect.

The same Experimts, tht were appointed for this day
were afresh again committed to the Curator for the next


Mr Oldenburg produced a paper, sent to him by
Mr Smethwick, containing the weight of some metals, stones
and Liquors, formerly made by Mr Reynolds in the Tower
of London. Order'd to be registred, wth thanks to the Mr
. . . . Smethwick.

Mr Collins gaue in a list of the writers of Authors
tht haue written of the weights of mettals and Liquors.
He was thanked for it, and the paper orderd to be filed up.

The same Expermts, tht were appointed for this day, were
again recommended to the Curator for the next.
