Nouember the 30th. St. Andrews Day.


This being the Day of the Aniuersary Election according to the charter
vpon Extraordinary sumons that had been according to former custome sent to
each member of the same the society met in order to make choice of the
President councell & officers for the yeare Insuing -
A sufficient number being met the candidates that ^/had been formerly proposd &/ remaind vpon the journalls
as not yet Elected, were seuerally put to the Ballot and the Persons follow
following were Duely Elected. to wit
Mr. Iohn Hall.
Mr. Oliuer Hill.
Mr. Monackhausen.
Dr. Thomas Gale
Mr. George Ent
Mr.      Baker
Mr. Smith Thomas Smith
Dr. Robert Plott.

mr Oliuer Hill & mr. George Ent hauing subscribd the Obligation & paid
their admission money were admitted by mr. Henshaw the vice president then
in the chair. Ther President through great indisposition of Health being
absent.

Sr. Robert Southwell Presented the Society for their Repository two very
large & long Rhinocerots hornes. He was Thanked for these tokens of
his .. . . continued remembrance of this Repository -
hauing formerly by many former presents ^ at seuerall times very considera
bly augmented it that collection -
There being a sufficient number present for the Election the vicepresident na
=med Mr Hooke and Mr Aubery and Dr. Grew & Sr. Peter Wych for the Scrutators
of the Suffrages. There being 44 present there were continued by a suffi
cient number of Votes these 11 following of the old councill -
The Ld Brounker. mr Colwall. mr Henshaw. mr Hill. Sr. I: Hoskins.
Sr I: Lowther. Sr. Ion: More. Bp: of Salisbury Dr. Whistler. Sr Chr Wren
Ioseph: Williamson. Sr. Ch: Wren.
And out of the other members of the Society these 10 were chosen
into the Councell. Mr. Barrington. Dr Grew Mr. Hall Dr. Holden Mr Hooke
Mr Charles Howard Dr. King Dr. Needham Sr. P Neil. Sr. R Southwell
Sr Ioseph Williamson was chosen President mr. Hill treasurer. Dr Grew
& mr. Hooke Secretarys.
