Drafts of two letters by William Brouncker, 03-09-1662
William Brouncker became President of the Royal Society following the granting of a
Royal Charter in the summer of 1662. Among his first duties were those of offering thanks to:
- the king for granting the charter
- Sir Robert Moray, his predecessor as president, for his part in securing it.
