[fol. 47r] Sir, thinclosed, being written unto hir Majestie by Counte Edzard, about som private cause, recommended unto him by my lord of Leicester, whearin he findeth him self greeved with the mannor of my L. usage of him, and for that we are heare unacquainted with the matter, I have thought good to desier you, that I may understand from yow, because yow weare lately imployed in those partes, what yow doe know of the said cause, and withall that yow will sett downe a briefe extract, out of the inclosed declarations, of the substance thereof, and so I committ yow to God. at wyndsor the xv ^th^ of September. 1586.
