Marginalia
(by unknown hand): Grave Egert]
Egart Grave of Embden, is wholly devoted to the K of Spayne, and hath lately
receaved the order of the golden fleese: His L. sent master Hearle unto hym of late in
her majesties name: his intertaynment was could & contemptible deliveringe in
effect unto hym, that he was indifferent, to talk either peace, or war: his L, in this
respect, thincketh hym unworthy; to have the benefitt of the trade & traffick of our
marchants any longer.
