[fol. 146r] May it plese your honor to be advertised, that Monsieur & the Prynce off Orenge with the whole Cowrt, departed from flussheng on mondaye abowtt x. of the clock yn the forenoone, & laye that night att the Sluse, & so to Brugs owr Camp is as yett bettwen donkerck & Berges St Wynock. The horse men newlye com [ deleted: & with] the Rutters ar butt xv. C [ deleted: horse] The footemen as many very yll furnisshed & chosen./ There be som of the flowr of master norrys companyes, gon to the Enmye, for all that Coronell Morgan cowd do./

The P. of Pynoys & St Alldegond ar sent for here, the on departed on mondaye, & the P. is to follow to morow, as it ys yntended./

There be ij placs grawnted att Bruxelles for the exercise of the chatholyck Religyon, that is the Cowberg churche, & the chappell within the Palyce, by which menes we hope to have the catholyckes more redy to obeye & to contribute, & to yntertayn the mallcontents with the Religyows frede./

The P. of Parma is att Namures to Receve in those parts the forcs that com owtt of Italye & Spayn for the K. service here./ Grett somes of mony is sent [ deleted: by] ^with^ those [ deleted: forcs] that do arryve./ which makes us to fere & waver allredy./

There be speches of Bowchayn & of Carpen the on yn west flanders & the other by Colleyn, that they sholld be reduced to our obeyssance, butt those ar meere Tales./

Lres be com from Gyneva signeffieng that the Ambassadors of the Cantones ar with the d. of Savoye, with resolutyon to bryng thens warre or peace, & to charge the sayd duke of breche of leage & promis wherffore they will seke to be restored to those 4. Baylyewyckes, that som yeres past they had [ deleted: devy] delyverd up to the d. of Savoye, uppon condicions that he sholld nott encroche further./

The frenche K. hath sent to the Cantons the moytye of that money [ deleted: which] was dew unto theme, with promis to furnissh the Reste shortlye, & yn the mene tyme he Renewes the Leage that is bettwen the sayd Cantons & hym./ He promiseth further to ayde theme agaynst the d. of Savoye with men & mony, & hath sent especiall ambassadors, to the d. to admonissh hym to gyve good contentment to the Cantons, & to desiste from the enterprise of Gyneva, otherwise the sayd K. wolld declare hym sellf absolutelye agaysnt the d. yn the favor of Gyneva & the Cantons which lres from Gyneva, I have sene, & do know to com from good place, & wrytten by the consent of the magistrate there.
