[fol. 154r]There is one that hanteth the frenche Ambassador, that lyeth by the spittels where the spanishe Ambassador Laye, by all circumstances that I can gather it is one Curtois for that the partie taketh him to be a spaniarde./

There cometh allso continually to the Ambassador Scory the [Bishops] sonne and hath secreat and longe conference with him and this partye harde him saye that yf his father were deade and his goods solde he would not tary.

There is allso one Victor a frenche monke sarvinge one Noel who frequenteth muche the Ambassador, by whome he receaveth greatt Intelligence from Courte./

Corsailes hanteth secreatly the Courte in the nyght season

There is a sarvante of one Semyn dwellinge in St Clemence parishe withoute Temple Barre who dooth ordinarely come unto the Ambassador and hereth his masse gyvinge him great Intelligencs./
