her majesties hands, butt one bare Cli nottwithstandyng .2. chargeable vyages I have
byn employed in abrode, by her majesties owne choyse & comandement. Att ottlands
by your L. favor, her majestie bestowed on me by paroll a Cli pencion, the drawght
wherof to be signed, I left with yow att Richemond 10. weekes paste, having forborne
to troble your L. muche sithens, in respect of the State cawses that have occurred,
which modesty I trust may bryng the more favor for my dispatche, And albeit that
master Candisshe by your L. goodnes, & his ymportunitye, had a very good gyffte
bestowed on him, whose sute hong nott above 13. dayes, yett for me (howsoever I
have deserved & that mi neede withall presseth me most neere) I desire nott to
prevayll by ymportunity & presumpcion, though I sholld leese all. Wherfore R.
honorable L. have me in your favorable remembrance, & now the rather, for that her
majestie is uppon som remove, for her
[revertion]
, I nott being hable to endure ani longer
delaye, nor the expences that may succeede./ I humbly presume, that it is far from her
Royall disposityon, ether by differryng, to demynisshe the qwality of her gyffte, or by
withdrawing from her pryncely woorde
