                Customer of Mylford.

        R. h. Lord, this berer hath to present you a lre from Sir Thomas Perrott & certayne 
        others of the pryncipall persons of the Cownty of Penbroke, yn nature of a 
        Testimoniall or certifficate, which cleereth the Customer of Myllford, from ani 
        synister delyng, in the matter of the sallte browght in thither, by moore the pirate, & 
        challenged by certayne Irisshe & scotts, which the scottissh Ambassador hath verey 
        often ynformed of, yett more partially than truly, as will appere to your L. by the sayd 
        Attestacion, & by the advowment of others, which were eye wyttnesses, that will 
        attend on yow to that purpose, wherfore your L. shall have juste cawse to contynew 
        your lawfull favor to the sayd Customer, & to reprove th'embassador for

        overcredulows information, which consernes mi poore credite allso, to have the 
        Customer justeffyed, in regarde that I had the favor to preserve hym to your L. for 
        th'executyng of the Rowne beyng mi kynseman & a
