        Ytt plesed your L. to signefye unto me by master maynard your Secretory, that mi 
        offer was to mene towching the stallment of the Recognisance att 20li by the yere, & 
        that therfore I sholld Repayre to sir Walter mylldmaye & to amend or better mi sayd offer 
        unto him, wheruppon I sholld have dispatche./ According to the which, I have 
        declared your L. order to sir Wallter, & he is redy to procede with me, so he might 
        understand the same from your L. or from your Secretorye dyrectlye, & nott by the 
        mowthe he sayth, of the partye Interessed in the sute: thowgh he seme to trust me well 
        ynowgh in the Repporte, yett he

    lledgeth that ytt is nott so conveynent, nor yett 
        accustomable with him to do so: ytt might plese your L. therfore by wryteng or by fitt 
        messaige to clere hym of your menyng, & I will withall amend mi first offer, which is 
        to prove a good servyce & beneffite to her majestie unloked for, assuryng your L. that I 
        have on yn the Towne att mi charges, & hath byn these 4. wekes, that stayes onlye 
        uppon the answer to be made me, & for the Comissyon to be browght down into the 
        contry nott being myne ease (as your L. well knowes) to yntertayne unnecessarye 
        expencs, which I humblye comend to your honorable consyderacion & goodnes, 
        whose I am with the whole service of my bodye & mynde ever & for whose healthe I
