December the 1st. 1679


The Society mett vpon summons In order to make their Anniversary
Election of The Councell & officers for the year Insuing
Sr. Christopher Wren the VicePresident to the chair, the President
- himself being absent by Reason of In his present Indisposition.
A sufficient number being present the Candidates that had been
formerly propounded were put to the scrutiny by Ballot
And these following were Elected.
mr. Edward Tison.
Dr      Palmon
mr. William Napper
Sr. Sarotti the Son of Sr.        Residentiary for the
venetian State of Venice was propounded a Candidate
by mr. Robert Boyle.
Then the society Proceeded to their Election, according to their
vsuall manner & the Suffrages being collected It was found
That Sr. Ioseph Williamson. Mr. Colwall. Dr Allen ^ /Dr Croon/ Dr. Gale.
Dr. Grew mr. Henshaw mr. Hill Sr. Iohn Hoskins mr Hooke &
Sr. Christopher Wren were continued in the councell. and
That The Lord Earle of Barkclay. mr Barrington mr. Euelyn
Dr. Holder Dr. King mr Packer. mr. Perry. Sr. Wm. Petty
& Sr. Robert Southwell were elected out of the Rest of
the Members of the Society as members of the Councell for
the year Insuing

Dr. King mr Packer & Sr. Robert Southwell were sworne before
the Vice President Sr. Christopher Wren. According the
Direction of the Charter.

choyce of Sr. Ioseph Williamson

Mr Robert Hooke
