As concerning the Diseases of Bees Iohnson affirmes that they
will fall into a Diarhea and wear away by it.

mr. Hooke shewed his experiement wth. Peices which was a
way of making a hygroscope wth. Peices of Elm cut crosse
the graine the Better to be able to be sensible of the changes of
the air, soe contriued as to make the same as much and large
as should be Desired, this which he now produced consisting of
24 foot of the said peices, and might be made of 100 or 200.
foot of the said Peices and yet soe orderd as that the shrinking
and swelling of euery foot of it was made sensible and accumu
lated all in the Last. he was Desired to compleat this Inuention
for the weather clock which was now neer finished -
Dr. Grew Read & Deliuerd read and Deliuerd in a paper
of things which he had shewd Aprill the 3d which was to
be Inserted in the Iournall Book of the society
