lettertext
May it please your good L. being come to Am- sterdame, I have gotten those bookes and wri- tinges for whiche your L. writte unto me. There is nothing missing but the letter of Lucas Vele[r] to his frind in Amsterdame: Whiche I have cau- sed notwithstanding to be required of the shipper. But he himself can not tell what was done with it and his men are absent. Nevertheles they shall be demaunded when they come: though it seem by the note which your L. sent unto me, that it was but a letter of recommendation. I have sent alltogether in those budgets in which they were fou[nd] and packed the whole in canvas, whiche I have delivered to a messenger of Zeland, and given order from thens for good conveiance to your L. I am going as this day for Friseland, where I heare Count Maurice and the Councel are already arri- ved. But the place of their residence is yet un- knowen: albeit I thinke it will be Doccum or Leewarden: wherof I shall advertised assoon [as] I come thither, which I hope shall be within these two daies. And so for this present I take my humble leave. At Amsterdame. June 10 1591. Your L. most humbly bounden Tho. Bodl[ey]
