The minutes of the Preceding meeting were read
And Discoursed of. And the society Desired that
mr. Hooke would with what conuenient speed he
can print those Discourses and Lectures Read
before the Society As also a more full Descripti
on and . . . . . . . of all those seuerall Instruments
which he had this Last year shewn the Society to
gether wth. the Demonstrations of the Grounds &
Eff
Reasons ^ /& vse/ of them. which he sayd he . . . . . /was willing/ to doe
soe soon as he could find Leasure to fit them for the Presse
He also now more particularly Explained that
Problem which he shew the Last meeting concer
ning the nature of the Spirall of Archimedes &
the Tangent to any part thereof.

A Letter of mor Iustells to mr Hooke was Read
wherein was an account of a new Inuention found
at Paris of making wood Incombustible wth a
small charge An Experiment of wch. the ^/inuentor/ had shewd
the King of France an Experiment at Versaill
wth Good successe. that the same vndertooke to
make a fireship of the Like nature. the same
also pretended to haue a way of preseruing all
sorts of fruites.
