Dr. Gale was Desired to take the Chair.

The minutes of the preceding meeting were Read & Dis-
coursed and vpon Discoursing concerning Pendulums
mr. Hill mentiond that Gassendus in one of his Discour
ses had affirmed that Pend he had obserued pendulus
to moue quicker in Winter than in the Summer

mr. Flamstead sayd that It was obserued that if the workma
that work about the smelting mills did euery other week
work in the mine vnder Ground they would escape
the Bellan, but if they continued much Longer in
the smelting mills they would certainly be some way
or other affected wth. it./

Dr. Gale made a motion concerning the New binding
of the manuscripts of the norfolcian Library they being
much Decayd. this being Discoursd was Referred to
the Councell to consider at their next meeting
