At the Royal Society

Iune the 24. 1680


Dr Paman presented /shewed/ to the Society a stone of
a great bignesse ^/taken out of a horses bladder/ concrete, of many stones,
weighing 4 pound & a 4 - one side rugged
the other side smoth like pebles.

The Dr. was desired to mtake a particular account
of the Horse & Stone &c.

Sr. Iohn Hoskins presented to ye Society from Mr
Aubery a large Flye, or great sort of a mouth the product
of a scolopendra it hath in its mouth a long thred. . . . . . . . . .

Mr. Hill from Mr. Langerman Merchand a
spar, or mixture of Stone, Spar & purites such
as is usualy found in Lead mines.

Mr Chetwin presented a peice of Lead oar taken
out of a mine in Staffordshire, in forme
p'pend dicall /octoedrall/, in wch forme all in tht mine rise[th]

A councel appointed at the President's house on Friday
at 4 in the afternoone.

Mr. Aubery presented a large flye to the Society. tis
the product of a scolopendra. the tongue of it is
coyled up in the mouth, but it darteth it out, and
from the end of it droppeth a poysonouth moysture

The president gave to the Society the Ld Bacon Sylua.
