Mr. Hooke conceiued he could make glasse beads as beautifull for Co
=lour but could not Immitate the hardnesse or fixedness of them
he was Desired to make some tryalls about it.

Some of Mr. Beales Letters to the Secretary were Read and the others
were reserued to the next meeting.

Mr. Hooke Produced & shewed A new kind of Leuell Inuented
by himself, It being the most convenient & exact /way of any/ that hath yet
been made vse of, the Instrument not being quite perfected the
Description thereof is omitted till the next Day of meeting.
