- Note 1: P. 198 is a list which
may not be part of the numbered series of workdiary entries. It appears on the
reverse of a leaf which is part of the numbered collection, but it is not
numbered itself. Nevertheless, it is written in Greg's hand, which could
suggest a roughly similar period of composition, and thus it is included in
this transcription and assigned an editorial number. The entries on this page
are written on the left-hand side of the page, as if two columns were
originally intended.
- Note 2: The numbered series
making up the 'century' ends on p. 217 and is followed by a page and a half of
unnumbered lists of specific gravities and other measurements. These unnumbered
lists are included here and are assigned editorial numbers.
