General Information
- Creation: 10-16 April 1666
- Hands: Hand E (entries 1-4, 7-9) Hand F (entries 5-6, 10-12)
- Source: British Library, Add. MS 4293, fols. 50-3
- Languages: English (12 entries)
- Length: 12 entries
- Format: Two folded foolscap sheets. The sheets appear to be bound out of order in BL, Add. MS 4293 (part of the Birch Papers). The header date on the recto of the first leaf of the second folded sheet (fol. 52) is 'April the 6th 1666', followed by 'Apr: 10th 1666' on the recto of its conjoint leaf (fol. 53). Both of these antedate the header dates on the rectos of the two leaves making up the first sheet- 'Aprill the 13th' (fol. 50) and 'Aprill the 15' (fol. 51). We have reversed the order of the two sheets and present the entries in their chronological order, i.e. fols. 52, 53, 50 and 51. On fol. 51v, there is an endorsement in Boyle's hand at right-angles to the text: 'Greatrakes TG [?]'
