Warren Boutcher's research interests are in all aspects of early modern English and European culture and how that culture has been studied in the twentieth century. His first doctoral student has been offered a lectureship at the University of Cambridge , after five years spent as a lecturer at the University of York . His most recent student has returned to a lecturing post at the University of Mexico. He is interested in hearing from prospective students who wish to study either modern or early modern literary and intellectual culture, especially under the auspices of the Centre for Editing Lives and Letters.
