Ned graduated from the University of Susex in 2009. He spent most of 2010 teaching English as a foreign language in China. Research-wise, he's particularly interested in the connection between Ottoman Asia and 16th and 17th Century England. Otherwise, he likes cycling, laughing and getting lost in big cities – preferably all at once.
