Karen Hardman gained a BA in English at Queen Mary, University of London. In 2005 she completed the MRes at CELL. She is now in the third year of her PhD, funded by the AHRC. The focus of her work is John Egerton, 1st Earl of Bridgewater as evidenced by his letter collection 1630-42.
