Daisy studied English at Oxford, graduating in 2006. Her AHRC-funded MRes focussed on taxonomic literature in the second half of the seventeenth century, and was awarded the Marjorie Thompson Prize and the Drapers' Company Postgraduate Prize.

Her PhD, also funded by the AHRC, will investigate some early Royal Society projects. She is currently working on Moses Pitt's English Atlas.
