Annie is currently working on a doctoral thesis at CELL which addresses concepts of fame and celebrity in the eighteenth century. Her work centres on Samuel Richardson, his epistolary novel Clarissa and the 'fan mail' he accumulated during exchanges of letters with his varied and numerous correspondents.
