Anna gained her BA in English from the University of Melbourne, graduating in 2008. Since then she has worked at Melbourne University teaching first year English Literary Studies and first year Indigenous Studies.

She is interested in the intersections between politics and aesthetics in the 16th and 17th centuries, particularly as they are staged in the literature of the period.
