Alex is the CELL events and educational outreach officer. She is responsible for the annual HarperCollins History lecture in the autumn. Alex also convenes and teaches Beginners' Latin for ad hoc translation for the MRes at CELL.
Alex studied English at Cambridge University before completing a Masters in Modernism at QMUL and then going on to work in television. Her research focuses on the poetry and criticism of Ezra Pound, specifically his linguistic method and use of ideograms in the Cantos.
