Peter Stallybrass CELL seminar and lecture

On Tuesday 4 May Professor Peter Stallybrass, CELL occasional Visiting Scholar, will deliver a lecture entitled 'WHAT IS A BOOK?', at 5.30 pm in the Arts Lecture Theatre, Arts Building, Queen Mary. All CELL graduate students are urged to attend.

On the morning of the same day (4 May), Peter Stallybrass will run a seminar in the CELL seminar room, for all CELL MA and PhD students (11-12.30). Other graduate students are welcome, but please could you email info [at] livesandletters [dot] ac [dot] uk to notify us, so that we can judge numbers? Lunch will be provided following the seminar (courtesy of the CELL students, who are catering).

Peter Stallybrass is Walter H. and Leonore C. Annenberg Professor in the Humanities and Professor of English and of Comparative Literature and Literary Theory. For the last fourteen years, he has directed the seminar on the History of Material Texts, and he co-edits the Material Texts series for the University of Pennsylvania Press.
