son. He calld his Discouery myopibus iuuamen. and obserued tht
by the vse of seeing things inuerted it became as naturall as if
they were seen erected, and Conceiued that if one from his child
hood were vsed to see things by this meanes inuerted as we
call them though they are really erected in the eye. if they
should afterwards come to ^ /see/ them wthout. the help of these
glasses they would conceiue they saw them Inuerted as
they really are at the bottom of the Eye. as he said
was very visible in a young catts eye - which is almost
transparent at the bottom. -


mr. Colwall Gaue an account from mr. Flamstead that
he had prosecuted that obseruation begun & Inuented
by mr Hooke of obseruing the Parallax of the
earths orb among the first starrs by a perpen
