the Black sea. the Particu

ch. as conteind in his Paper follow -
after the reading of the Paper he shewd some of the salts extracted
and amongst the rest the salt of the Euxine sea water being
tasted was found to be a perfect cau
stick and exceedingly dif
ferent from any other kind of sea salt.

r. Hooke produced the Bre
st Part of a new sort of Armor made
of silk well quilted together which was able to resi

stoll or Carubine it was neer 3/4 of an inch thick
and very hard & pretty heauy. But whether it would performe
what was pretented concerning it we were not certainly
coninforme conuinced by any experiment. only the Gentleman that owned
