mr Hooke then shewd . . . the Experimentsof the lasst Day thereby to shew the great
fluidity of one part of the blood where and milk aboue the other, whereby it
plainly appeard by the very free and swift & confused motion of those exceeding
small globules through the body of the liquor in wch. they swam that the same
must be very fluid & yealding

mr. Hooke Produced /& read/ a Letter sent to him from mr Iames Young of Plimmouth
conteining a Strange Relation of an accident that had happed to one mr
mr Anthony Williamson of Lisord in Cornwall vpon swallowing three musket /pistoll/ bullets
one of wch. slipped aside and went down his windpipe . . . and produced very sad
and fatall symptomes which ended wth. his Life in it he gaue an account of what
he had found in the body vpon anatomising it after his death amongst the rest
that he had found the bullet in the Left brach of the trachea where it Lay
wthout being alterd in its figure or hauing made any impression on the trachea
though the lungs were corrupted beyond it -

Thanks were orderd to be returned by mr Hooke to the Person for his communications

Sr Wren mentiond a Relation wch he had Lately Sr. Chr. wren related tht
my Lord waynmans son vpon swallowing a bullet down
into his Lungs had been freed from the same not Long after by a per
son who turnd him wth. his heels vpwards and shaking him and thereby
making him cough had made the bullet fall down into his epiglottis and
from thence by the cough to be thrown out wth. great violence, And soe
had noe farther mischeif thereby.

Dr. Allen added

mr Collwall presented the Society wth two glasses conteining some things for
the Repository in the one was a ^ /large locust/ grashopper a cricket. a very large
spider &c. And in the other a flying fish two or 3 very small cony fishes
a very small Guiperua & some other small fishes. thankes were giuen
to mr. Colwall for his present & the things Deliuerd to mr Hunt for
the Repository.
