May it please your good L. having written a former, which I also send yow at this present, Count Maurice acquainted the Councel of state, with the copies of certaine letters, written by the King of Spaine to his Ambassador with the Emperor. They were lately taken, with other papers and letters of the Enemie, in Ger- many, and sent hither to the Count, from suche persons of credit, as we can not surmise, they should be devised. and though their date be somwhat auncient, yet I thought them well worthy the sending to your L. And so againe I take my leave. At the Hage October 28 Anno 1590. Your L. most humbly bounden Tho. Bodley
