May it please your H. The tenor of your lettre o[f the] 15 of December doth require at my handes a [spe] cial acknowledgement of your honorable favor[.] [.] [testifie] unto yow with multitude of wordes [.] in my humor, and your H. as I conjecture, [.] moved much with [compliments]. For which I will but [.] that if it may suffice, for a token of my duty and [.] disposition, to keepe my service in a readinesse, for [.] you will use it, there shall never be [.] of my [.] most endevors. Which I knowe I should not [.] yow to beleeve, if the dutifull affection that I have [.] more borne with all reverent submission to my L. your father, and not take too muche wrong by way of ha[.] report: which I wil not nowe remember, because I [.] knowe the autor, and a parswuaded of his L.
