May it please your good L. I am earnestly intreated by divers persons of qualitie, to write a second letter in the favor of one Herman Ro- denburgh of Amsterdame, who at his being in England assistant to the last Deputies of the general states, was arested by one Gerard of Malines, upon pretence of a certaine debt. Happely the cause in question being ancient, and my former letter /written/ above 6 monethes agoe, it can not come so readily to your L. memory. But Master Caron, I am told, will acquaint yow very thorowly, with as muche as shall be re- quisit. Upon the intelligence wherof, if it please your L. finding it a suite that deserveth some favor, to make it knowen unto the parties, that I have not failed to remember yow of it, I shall finde them the willinger, to further those affaires, wherein my service in this place may neede their assistance.
